Haruka Kaminogi is the central protagonist in the sci-fi anime, Noein: To your other self.
Haruka is 12 years old and was born in Tokyo, Japan. After her parents divorced when she was 8, she moved with her mother Asuka back to Asuka's original hometown of Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan. They've lived there for the last four years, though her father Takuya still visits her from Tokyo once every three months. Her last name was legally changed to her mother's maiden name of Kaminogi after the separation. Unbeknownst to her, she possesses the Dragon Torque, an ancient artifact giving her the ability to control time and space, and alter the future at will. Haruka is also a very fast runner, and can easily match or outrun cats and dogs. Personality-wise, Haruka acts very mature for a girl her age. She's also cute, cheerful, smart, caring, kind-hearted, outgoing, spunky, candid, and optimistic (even in dire situations). She never allows herself to be bullied or put-down in any way. As such, she likes to confront her own, and other's problems head-on, and will always stand up for herself, her family, and her friends. And if apologized to, Haruka is very forgiving. There are six episodes (7, 10, 20, 21, 22, and 23) where Haruka is barefoot the entire time, and five episodes (6, 8, 9, 14, and 24) where she's barefoot 99% of the time. Therefore, there are many shots of her bare feet throughout the overall series. This is due to two reasons: She chooses to not wear her socks for most of the series. And, near the end of the series (in episode 19), she gets transported against her will to a future time-space dimension while upstairs in her house, and (because of Japanese customs) she was not wearing her sneakers at that time.
